Russia's Belgorod Oblast was again shelled overnight on May 15, Oblast governor Vyacheslav Gladkov claimed.

Repeatedly throughout the night and the previous evening, Gladkov warned residents about a "missile threat" in the area.

Russian air defense systems intercepted several aerial targets approaching Belgorod at 5:20 a.m., he said.

Two people were injured after a house in the village of Dubovoye was hit by a projectile, starting a fire. Firefighters are allegedly at the scene working to extinguish the blaze.

"After repelling an air attack by Ukrainian Armed Forces with air defense systems," seven residential properties were reported damaged, including broken windows, damaged roofs, and collapsed fences.

Two cars were damaged by shrapnel and there were reports of damage to power lines, Gladkov claimed.
