Russian troops receive reinforcements in southern Ukraine General Staff report

Two additional battalion-tactical groups of Russian occupying forces have been deployed on the southern fronts. The Ukrainian Armed Forces have repelled Russian assaults on several fronts.

Quote: "On the Pivdennyi Buh front, enemy troops are continuing to focus their efforts on maintaining their current positions and preventing the [Ukrainian] Defence Forces from creating favourable conditions for launching a counteroffensive.

The occupiers have reinforced [their presence on the Pivdennyi Buh front] by deploying two additional reserve battalion-tactical groups and transferring several units from other fronts.

The enemy [Russian occupiers] conducted airstrikes near Bilohorka, Bila Krynytsia and Lozove and dedicated significant efforts to conducting aerial reconnaissance using UAVs.

Two enemy naval high-precision missile carriers are on standby [in the waters of the Black and Azov seas]."

Details: On the Sloviansk front, Russian forces used tubed and rocket artillery to shell areas in the vicinity of Hrushuvakha, Velyka Komyshuvakha, Krasnopillia, Dibrivne, Virnopillia, Brazhivka, Chervone, Adamivka, Mazanivka, Nortsivka, Dolyna and Bohorodychne.

On the Kramatorsk front, Russian forces fired on areas near Siversk, Serebrianka, Rozdolivka, Hryhorivka, Spirne, Verkhnokamianske, Zvanivka, Ivano-Darivka, Fedorivka, Berestove, Vesele and Kryva Luka and carried out an airstrike near Spirne.

Russian occupying forces carried out an unsuccessful attempt to advance on the Mykolaivka – Vyimka axis; they suffered losses and retreated.

On the Bakhmut front, Russian forces fired on areas in and around Bakhmut, Soledar, Zaitseve, Yakovlivka, Kodema, Bilohorivka, Vershyna and Zalizne using tank guns and various types of artillery and conducted airstrikes on areas around Soledar, Bakhmut, Yakovlivka, Zaitseve, Pokrovske, Vesela Dolyna and Bilohorivka.

Russian forces conducted offensive and assault operations in order to break through the Ukrainian defences and advance on the city of Bakhmut from Volodymyrivka, Pokrovske, Klynove, Semyhiria and Holmivske. However, they were not successful and were forced to retreat.

On the Avdiivka front, the Russians used tank guns, as well as tubed and rocket artillery to fire on areas in and around Avdiivka, Marinka, Krasnohorivka, Pisky, Opytne, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, Kamianka, Vesele, Novobakhmutivka, Netailove, Niu-Iork and Yurivka.

Russian aircraft conducted airstrikes on the city of Krasnohorivka.

In addition, the Russians attempted to improve their tactical positions on the following axes: Verkhnotoretske – Kamʼianka, Novoselivka Druha – Avdiivka, Pisky – Pervomaiske and Lozove – Pervomaiske. They were not successful.

On the Novopavlivka front, Russian forces fired on areas in and around Pavlivka, Volodymyrivka, Velyka Novosilka, Vuhledar, Vremivka, Novomykhailivka, Prechystivka and Zolota Nyva and conducted an airstrike near Vuhledar.

The Russians also attempted to conduct offensive operations in order to improve their tactical positions on the Taramchuk – Vodiane axis. The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled their offensive and forced them to retreat.

On the Zaporizhzhia front, Russian forces used all weapons at their disposal to fire on the positions of Ukrainian troops along the entire line of contact. Russian aircraft fired on the areas near Shcherbaky, Zaliznychne and Novoandriivka.

On the Kharkiv front, Russian forces are focusing on maintaining their current positions, restoring the combat capability of units that suffered losses and replenishing supplies. The Russians deployed additional electronic warfare systems in the area, as well as an additional battalion-tactical group.

Russian forces used tanks, tubed artillery and multiple-launch rocket systems to fire on areas in and around Udy, Kalynove, Slatyne, Derhachi, Pytomnyk, Bazaliivka, Ruska Lozova, Ruski Tyshky, Cherkaski Tyshky, Petrivka, Kutuzivka, Staryi Saltiv, Ivanivka, Husarivka, Pechenihy, Lebiazhie, Korobochkyne, Stara Hnylytsia, Slobozhanske, Chepil and Velyki Prokhody. The Russians also carried out airstrikes near Verkhnii Saltiv, Staryi Saltiv and Baranivka.

There were no significant changes on the Volyn, Polissia and Sivershchyna fronts, where the Russians shelled the areas in the vicinity of Studenok, Pavlivka and Velyka Pysarivka, in Sumy Oblast.

The General Staff reports that Ukrainian soldiers are inflicting losses on the Russian occupying forces on all fronts where hostilities are currently underway.
