Russian swimmer Ksenia Moskvina suspended for 1 year for breaking anti-doping rules

MOSCOW - The Russian Swimming Federation says national team member Ksenia Moskvina has been suspended for one year for violating anti-doping's whereabouts rule.

The federation said in a statement on Friday that Moskvina has repeatedly failed to provide reliable information about her daily whereabouts for possible drug testing.

Moskvina, a backstroke specialist, placed 14th in the 100-meter event at the 2008 Olympics and 13th in the 50 at the 2011 world championships.
