Russian Su-34 bombers spotted at Russian Kuschevsk airfield before Ukrainian attack — satellite images
Satellite images have confirmed that Su-34 bombers were stationed at the airfield in the village of Kuschevsk in Russia's Krasnodar Krai before Ukraine's reported attack, the Ukrainian military & defense portal Defense Express reported on April 27.

Videos circulating online depict the destruction of a depot containing UMPK (Universal Planning and Correction Modules), which facilitate the conversion of conventional bombs into guided ones, said Defense Express. The footage also suggests damage to the flight control building and verifies the presence of Su-34 aircraft at the airbase.
Defense Express has released a satellite image from ESA's Sentinel, revealing at least five aircraft near the UMPK depot. This image was captured on April 9, as no newer images are available due to cloud cover. Radar images in the SAR range further confirm the presence of aircraft at the same location.
The Kuschevsk military airbase also houses Su-27 aircraft and possibly MiG-29 and L-39 in flight condition, the report said.
Videos of nighttime explosions in the region are circulating online. Russian sources reported strikes on refineries in the region and several other objects.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported that air defense forces allegedly shot down 66 "Ukrainian drones" over the territory of Krasnodar Krai in the morning, as well as two more UAVs over the occupied Crimea.
Ukraine’s SBU security service confirmed targeting an airfield and oil refineries in Russia's Krasnodar Krai with drones in a comment to NV on April 27.
