Russian strike on Kharkiv Oblast with Uragan MLRS kills 4 and wounds 9 civilians

Russian military stroke Novoosynove and Kivsharivka in Kharkiv Oblast with Uragan multiple rocket launcher system (MLRS), killing five people and injuring nine others, Kharkiv regional police reported on Telegram on May 19.

Men aged 64, 65 and 58 and two women aged 56 and 72 were killed. Five men and four women were injured and are being treated.

Earlier it was reported that on May 19, Russia struck the Malodanilivska territorial community in Kharkiv Oblast, killing five people and injuring 16 others.

Five civilians, including a 7-month pregnant woman, were killed and 16 others, including an 8-year-old child, were injured.

Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko said that two missiles hit a popular summer vacation spot on the shore of a reservoir in the suburbs of administrative center of Kharkiv around 11 a.m. EET.

There are a police officer and a paramedic among the wounded, they arrived to help people and were injured as a result of a second strike.

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov said that two Russian missiles had hit the recreation center where people were vacationing.

Kharkiv governor, Oleh Synehubov, said that the Russians hit Kharkiv Oblast with an Iskander-M missile.
