Russian strike injures railway workers in Kharkiv Oblast

Russian forces struck railway infrastructure in Kharkiv Oblast, injuring six railway workers, the Ukrainian Railways reported on Telegram on May 23.

The workers took cover during the airstrikes.

The injured workers received medical assistance and, fortunately, there were no fatalities, Ukrzaliznytsia said.

Train services continue to operate according to schedule.

Russia launched a devastating missile attack on Kharkiv and the cities of Zolochiv and Liubotyn in the Kharkiv Oblast, killing seven people and injuring several more. At least 15 strikes have been reported.

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported that the Russian forces aimed at the city’s transport infrastructure and a municipal unit vital for the city's life support systems.
