Russian soldier suspected of killing tugboat captain in Kherson Oblast
Ukrainian law enforcement officers have served a notice of suspicion to a Russian army serviceman who fatally shot a tugboat captain during the occupation of Hola Prystan in Kherson Oblast, the Kherson Prosecutor’s Office reported on April 27.

According to investigation, suspect shot and killed captain of tugboat, wounded another civilian on waterfront of Hola Prystan in early November 2022. On that day, vessel was traveling from Kherson, transporting people. While tug was trying to dock, Russian soldier opened aimed fire.
According to law enforcement, Russians tried to hide the incident. To do this, they spread a fake about shelling of tugboat by Ukrainian military.
