Russian shelling kills sixty-year-old civilian and injures another in frontline Kherson Oblast, governor reports

A 60-year-old resident of Kizomys village in Ukraine’s Kherson Oblast, recently liberated from Russian occupation, was fatally injured by Russian shelling hitting residential areas, regional governor Oleksandr Prokudin reported on Telegram on April 29.

Another civilian, a 37-year-old man, suffered blast injuries, shrapnel wounds and fractures.

The Russians systematically attack the southern Ukrainian frontline causing numerous casualties, destruction and damage to civilian and critical infrastructure. On April 27, at least three civilians were injured in a Russian kamikaze drone attack. On the same day, a 21-year-old woman was injured in an artillery attack on the village of Stanislav.
