Russian shelling kills five, injures three in Donetsk Oblast

Five people were killed and three others injured in Russian artillery strikes across Donetsk Oblast on May 26, regional governor Vadym Filashkin reported on Telegram.

In Antonivka, two fatalities and one injury were reported following a shelling incident. Meanwhile, the artillery fire in Siversk resulted in one civilian death.

Additional attacks in Krasnohorivka and Chasiv Yar left two more dead and two injured. One victim was killed and another wounded in each town, respectively.

This violence follows closely on the heels of strikes on May 24, which claimed three lives and injured two more in the region.
