Details: Reports indicate that Saldo is to be transported on a special chartered aircraft from Crimea to a clinic in Moscow due to the deterioration of his health.
He is currently in a critical condition. His doctors suspect that he might have been poisoned. Alternatively, he might have suffered a stroke.
Background:
On 4 August, Saldo said that he was going to hospital and was therefore delegating his "authority" to his "acting executive", Sergei Yeliseyev.
In July, Russian occupation "authorities" in Kherson Oblast claimed that they had prevented an attempt on Saldo’s life.
