Russian oil depot in Kaluga Oblast hit by drone attack, gasoline tank explodes

Three drones "crashed" near the oil depot in the town of Lyudinovo, but did not cause any damage, Russia’s Kaluga regional governor, Vladislav Shapsha, reported on Telegram on April 28.

Russian media claimed that a gasoline tank exploded during the attack.

The incident occurred at 3:40 a.m., but no damage or casualties were reported by the regional governor.

The Russian Telegram news channel Baza reports that a gasoline tanker with a volume of almost 700 cubic meters exploded during the UAV attack at the Kaluganefteprodukt oil depot.

The explosion at the tank farm occurred after two UAVs attacked it. Later, a third drone crashed on its territory, Baza alleged.

The Russian Defense Ministry claimed successful destruction of three drones over Kaluga Oblast earlier.
