Russians have refrained from withdrawing missile carriers from duty unless preparing for a mass missile-drone attack, the Ukrainian Southern Defense Forces spokesperson, Natalia Humeniuk, said on the national television on April 16.

“We have observed this trend several times,” she said.

Humeniuk suggested that this behavior might be linked to a change in leadership, with such actions serving as a test.

She noted the presence of missile carriers in the Black Sea.

“It should be understood that even when stationed at their bases, they remain dangerous,” Humeniuk said.

“The level of danger they pose remains incredibly high. Whether they will be deployed for combat duty or not is determined within a matter of hours.”
