Russian landmine injures child in Kherson Oblast

A boy, 11, has been injured by a Russian landmine in the village of Muzykivka (Kherson Oblast). The child has been hospitalised.

Quote from Prokudin: "A child has been injured by a Russian mine in Muzykivka.

A boy, 11, has been hospitalised with shrapnel injuries to his legs, chest and abdomen. He is currently in surgery.

Doctors assess his condition as moderate."

Updated: Prokudin later said that the boy’s grandfather also sustained injuries when a Russian landmine in Muzykivka detonated.

The man, 63, was diagnosed with shrapnel wounds to his legs and back. He received medical treatment.

Quote from Prokudin: "The man and his grandson were tending to their cattle grazing near a canal. The tragic incident occurred when a goat triggered the mine.

The 11-year-old boy has undergone surgery. His life is no longer in danger."
