The Russian invaders continue to seize villages in Kharkiv Oblast, the monitoring project DeepState reported on May 13.

"In the Morokhovets-Oliynykove-Zelene area, the enemy occupied these settlements and continues its movement towards Lypets village," the group said.

"Active battles for Lukyantsi are ongoing, which the enemy has almost completely taken over."

Russian troops are also attempting to entrench themselves in Hlyboke. They attempt to advance on foot but face constant fire from the Ukrainian Defense Forces, including from FPV drones. which significantly complicates their movement, but is insufficient to halt the advance.

The Russians continue to approach Vovchansk, establishing positions near the city for further incursions. Ukrainian forces are engaging Russian troops with fire and are trying to contain the advance. The city remains under heavy shelling, with civilian evacuations ongoing.

Reports of the enemy occupation of the village of Hatyshche require further confirmation.

The Russians focus their attempts on solidifying their positions at existing frontlines for further advancement.

Resistance from the Defense Forces complicates their movements — the enemy occasionally regroups and intensifies efforts on shelling populated areas, using the action to draw in additional Ukrainian reserves.

Russian forces resumed assault operations near the village of Hlyboke, media reported on the morning of May 11.

Russia's troops in Kharkiv Oblast are localized in the "gray zone" and are not expanding, Khortytsia operational group spokesperson, Nazar Voloshyn, said during a TV interview on May 11.

The Russians had occupied several villages in the border areas of the Kharkiv Oblast, DeepState reported on May 12.
