Russian forces are making “attempts to capture the village of Ivanivske and the outskirts of Bohdanivka at any cost” in an attempt to break through to the town of Chasiv Yar in Donetsk Oblast, the Khortytsia operational-strategic group spokesperson, Nazar Voloshyn, said on national television on April 23.

The situation on the front is difficult but under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, with the Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Novopavlivka sectors remaining hotspots.

“Our soldiers have been holding back the enemy for days and stabilizing the situation in this area,” he said.
