Russian forces attempt 5 assaults on Krynky – Ukraine's General Staff

Russian forces have launched five unsuccessful attacks on the positions of Ukrainian defenders near the village of Krynky (Kherson Oblast) over the past 24 hours.

Quote: "A total of 155 combat engagements have been recorded over the past 24 hours.

The enemy launched 13 missile strikes and 118 airstrikes and bombarded the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas 120 times with multiple-launch rocket systems. Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have caused civilian casualties. Multi-storey and private houses and other infrastructure facilities have suffered damage of various severity."

Details: The operational situation on the Volyn and Polissia fronts has not changed significantly. There are no signs of the formation of offensive groups.

In the Sivershchyna operational area, Russian forces are maintaining a military presence in the border areas of Chernihiv and Sumy oblasts, conducting sabotage and reconnaissance activities, attacking settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increasing the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. The Russians delivered an airstrike near the city of Sumy.

On the Kharkiv front, the Russians, supported by aircraft, launched 12 attacks near the settlements of Strilecha, Krasne, Morokhovets, Oliinykove, Lukiantsi, Hatyshche, Pletenivka, Pylna, Vovchansk and Buhruvatka (Kharkiv Oblast). Russian forces carried out airstrikes near the settlements of Vilcha, Lyptsi, Lyman, Izbytske, Vesele, Petrivka, Kozacha Lopan, Synelnykove, Hlyboke, Shyroke and Vovchanski Khutory (Kharkiv Oblast).

On the Kupiansk front, Ukrainian forces repelled 19 Russian attacks near the settlements of Synkivka, Novoiehorivka and Ivanivka (Kharkiv Oblast) and Stelmakhivka (Luhansk Oblast), where the Russians sought to improve their tactical position. Russian forces carried out airstrikes near the settlements of Tverdokhlibove and Serhiivka (Luhansk Oblast).

On the Lyman front, Ukrainian forces repelled 10 Russian attacks near the settlements of Makiivka and Nevske and Serebrianka Forest (Luhansk Oblast); Novosadove and Terny (Donetsk Oblast).

On the Sivershchyna front, Ukrainian forces repelled 16 Russian attacks near the settlements of Bilohorivka (Luhansk Oblast) and Verkhnokamianske, Spirne, Vyimka, and Rozdolivka (Donetsk Oblast).

On the Kramatorsk front, Ukrainian forces repelled 27 Russian attacks near the settlements of Klishchiivka, Andriivka, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Hryhorivka and Novyi (Donetsk Oblast), where the Russians, supported by aircraft, sought to improve their tactical position. Furthermore, the Russians delivered an airstrike near the settlement of Kurdiumivka (Donetsk Oblast).

On the Toretsk front, the Russians mounted no offensive (assault) operations. However, they conducted airstrikes near the settlements of Pivnichne and New-York (Donetsk Oblast).

On the Pokrovsk front, Ukrainian defenders repelled 32 Russian attacks near the settlements of Semenivka, Kalynove, Novooleksandrivka, Yevhenivka, Sokil, Novopokrovske, Novoselivka Persha, Umanske and Netailove (Donetsk Oblast), where the Russians, supported by aircraft, attempted to force Ukrainian units out of their positions. The Russians also carried out airstrikes near the settlements of Karlivka, Mykolaivka, Oleksandropil, Stara Mykolaivka, Prohres and Novohrodivka (Donetsk Oblast).

On the Kurakhove front, Ukraine's Defence Forces are continuing to hold back the Russians near the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Solodke, Krasnohorivka and Vodiane, where the Russians, supported by aircraft, attempted to break through Ukrainian defences 10 times.

On the Vremivka front, Ukrainian defenders repelled 16 Russian attacks near the settlements of Urozhaine and Staromaiorske (Donetsk Oblast), where the Russians, supported by aircraft, attempted to force Ukrainian troops out of their positions.

On the Orikhiv front, the Russians, supported by aircraft, attacked Ukrainian positions near the village of Robotyne (Zaporizhzhia Oblast) twice. Russian forces also conducted an airstrike near Storozheve (Donetsk Oblast) and Mala Tokmachka (Zaporizhzhia Oblast).

On the Prydniprovia front, the Russians are persisting in their intention to push Ukrainian troops from their footholds on the left (eastern) bank of the Dnipro River. Over the past 24 hours, the Russians, supported by aircraft, launched five unsuccessful attacks on Ukrainian positions near the village of Krynky (Kherson Oblast). Russian forces launched an airstrike near the settlement of Antonivka (Kherson Oblast).

Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces are continuing to inflict losses in military personnel and equipment on the Russian occupation forces, exhausting them throughout the entire war zone.

Based on updated information, over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian aircraft and Rocket Forces and Artillery units struck three Russian anti-aircraft missile systems, two artillery pieces, two radar stations and nine clusters of Russian military personnel.
