Russian drone damages trade infrastructure in Mykolaiv Oblast

Russia attacked Mykolaiv Oblast with Shahed 131/136 drones overnight on April 23, Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration head, Vitaliy Kim, reported on Telegram.

Drone debris damaged trade and commercial infrastructure, Kim noted.

A fire broke out at a trade pavilion, which firefighters quickly extinguished.

One man was reported injured in Ochakiv due to the downing of a Shahed drone.

He is being provided with medical assistance.

Ukrainian air defense systems destroyed four Shahed drones over Mykolaiv Oblast during the night.

Russia launched an attack on Ukraine using drones and ballistic missiles, including Iskander missiles, overnight on April 23.

Odesa and Kyiv were among the targets.

Ukrainian air defense forces managed to shoot down 15 of 16 kamikaze drones in the Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kyiv, and Cherkasy oblasts.

Nine people were injured in Odesa, including two children and two infants.
