Details: The Russian Vazhnye Istorii publication found an announcement  in the Russian social network VKontakte, where the Redut Private Military Company, controlled by the Russian MoD, looks to recruit women for combat specialties in the Borz volunteer battalion to participate in the war in Ukraine.

Potential mercenaries are offered a contract for six months with a salary of RUB 220,000 [about US$2,300]. If candidates do not have skills in handling weapons, they are promised to be trained in temporarily occupied Donetsk.

Under the guise of potential candidates for the position, the journalists called the recruiter of the Borz battalion with the call sign Vesta.
