Russian ballet dancers perform on tanks

During a tank biathlon competition, four dancers climb out of two military vehicles to perform the Swan Lake ballet finale on their armor.

Behind two pairs - who were soloists of the Moscow-based Russian Imperial Ballet - another four vehicles were seen demonstrating some 'dancing' skills as well, moving and rotating to the Pyotr Chaikovsky music.

Tank biathlon is a military discipline invented by Russia's Defence Ministry to hone the skills of tank crews. Each year tank teams from various countries take part in a friendly competition to determine the most skilled tank crew.
