Russia stikes railway station in Kherson in latest attack
Russia targeted civilian rail infrastructure in Kherson on May 8, Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways) reported on Facebook.
Tracks at the Kherson station were damaged in the strike.
Train No. 121/122 Kyiv - Kherson - Kyiv has been temporarily rerouted to Mykolaiv. Passengers to and from Kherson will be transported by buses from there.

All 99 passengers are currently safe.
Remaining trains will continue to operate according to schedule, Ukrzaliznytsia said.
Russia's strike on Ukraine on May 8
Ukraine was under a nationwide air alert overnight on May 8 during Russia's latest mass missile and drone attack on Ukrainian energy facilities.
Russia attacked Kyiv with cruise missiles from different directions. The capital's air defense systems destroyed all targets.

Two people were injured in Brovary after a fire broke out at a civilian infrastructure facility.
A fire broke out at an energy infrastructure facility in Poltava Oblast as a result of the attack.
Vinnytsia Oblast’s authorities also reported a hit.
Russia attacked power generation and transmission facilities in six Ukrainian oblasts, including Poltava, Kirovohrad, Zaporizhzhya, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Vinnytsia, Ukrainian Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko reported.
Ukrainian forces destroyed 59 enemy aerial targets: 39 missiles and 20 drones.
