According to him, Russia’s ability to produce sophisticated precision missiles is severely limited.

“There’s some production capacity; we’re talking maybe dozens (of missiles) per month,” said Yusov.

“Even if they take months-long breaks (between air strikes) until fall, they still won’t be able to replace (the missiles) they’ve spent in this war.”

At the same time, the official warned that Moscow still has access to vast reserves of S-300 anti-air missiles. While their range and accuracy are much lower compared to Kalibr or Kinzhal, these munitions are still often used to bombard Ukrainian cities along the frontline.

“But when it comes to high-precision weapons – namely Kinzhals and Kalibrs – those reserves are already at critical levels,” he concluded.

On May 9, Russia launched a barrage of missiles at Ukraine, targeting the Kyiv, Cherkasy, and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts. Of the 25 incoming missiles, 23 were shot down, including 15 intercepted over Kyiv. The two missiles than broke through the defenses caused some injuries, but, thankfully, no deaths.
