Russia losses 1,510 soldiers, 48 armoured combat vehicles and 23 artillery systems

Ukraine’s Defence Forces are continuing to inflict losses on Russia. Over the past day alone, Russia lost more than 1,500 soldiers, 48 armoured combat vehicles, 23 artillery systems and 14 tanks.

Details: The total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 15 May 2024 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

  • 486,940 (+1,510) military personnel;

  • 7,510 (+14) tanks;

  • 14,508 (+48) armoured combat vehicles;

  • 12,538 (+23) artillery systems;

  • 1,070 (+0) multiple-launch rocket systems;

  • 798 (+0) air defence systems;

  • 351 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft;

  • 325 (+0) helicopters;

  • 10,015 (+30) strategic and tactical UAVs;

  • 2,199 (+2) cruise missiles;

  • 26 (+0) ships and boats;

  • 1 (+0) submarines;

  • 16,955 (+48) vehicles and tankers;

  • 2,061 (+7) special vehicles and other equipment.
