Russia launches missile strike and air-drops mines on Sumy Oblast over past 24 hours

Russian forces have attacked Sumy Oblast 21 times over the past 24 hours, carrying out a missile attack and air-dropping eight mines on two hromadas. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

Details: The Russians launched a missile attack on the infrastructure of a suburb of the oblast centre in Sumy hromada. A woman, aged around 37, was killed in the Russian missile strike, sustaining multiple fatal injuries.

Russian troops fired using mortars on Krasnopillia hromada (10 explosions). [The figures in parentheses indicate the number of explosions caused by Russian attacks – ed.]

The Russians attacked Bilopillia hromada with a First-Person View (FPV) drone, mortars and artillery (14 explosions).

The Russians launched six air-dropped mines and fired using artillery on Velyka Pysarivka hromada (19 explosions).

Shalyhyne hromada was struck with mortars (8 explosions).

The Russians attacked Esman hromada with mortars and artillery (20 explosions).

Russian forces fired using mortars on Myropillia hromada (2 explosions).

The Russians air-dropped two mines on the territory of Seredyna-Buda hromada.

Artillery shelling and an FPV drone strike were recorded in Yunakivka hromada (5 explosions).

The Russians hit Khotin hromada with multiple-launch rocket systems (4 explosions).
