Russian military deployed over 300 missiles, nearly 300 Shahed drones, and 3,200 guided aerial bombs on Ukraine in April, stated Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on X on May 2.

"From Sumy Oblast to Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Donetsk oblasts, Mykolaiv and Kherson — our cities and communities endure deliberate and vile terror day and night," said Zelenskyy.

"With the aid of partners, we bolstered Ukraine's air defense, saving countless lives. But many Ukrainians have been killed as a result of Russian strikes."

"It is only through strength that we can stop this terror," Zelenskyy added.

“The resilience of our citizens, the unity of the world, the pressure on Russia, the bolstered air defense for Ukraine, and the courage of our soldiers on the front lines are our sources of strength.”

Earlier, the Air Force said on May 2 that he did not rule out that Russia can disrupt Easter weekend for Ukrainians with missile launches. "The Russians are primarily using ballistic and Kh-59 guided missiles in their attacks," said spokesman Illya Yevlash.
