Russia kills 14-year-old girl and two women in Kharkiv Oblast strike

Russia shelled the villages of Liptsy and Mala Danylivka in Kharkiv Oblast, killing a 14-year-old girl and two women aged 43 and 59 in Liptsi, Kharkiv governor Oleh Synehubov, said on Telegram on April 10.

According to him, at least two other people were injured. A 33-year-old pharmacy employee who had received shrapnel wounds, as well as a 16-year-old boy, were hospitalized for injuries sustained in the attack.

He added that the Russian strike hit a pharmacy and a store, setting them ablaze. People may still be trapped under rubble, though first responders are active at the scene.

In addition, Russians launched two guided aerial bombs at the town of Vovchansk, which completely demolished the local clinic.

According to Synehubov, a 34-year-old man with shrapnel wounds was hospitalized in a medical facility following the attack.

Russia’s strikes on Kharkiv Oblast

Russia has stepped up the frequency of attacks on Kharkiv Oblast, with the most recent mass missile attack occurring on April 7.

Kharkiv regional authorities have begun discussing the possibility of evacuating children from the northern part of oblast.

Synehubov added that the invasion forces have changed their tactics, and are employing the “double tap” tactic – striking the same location twice, the second time after first responders have arrived on the scene.

After a mass missile strike on Kharkiv’s power grid on March 22, the city was almost completely left without power. Blackout schedules are in effect in the oblast.
