Russia fired 15 missiles at once during their attack on Kharkiv and Lyubotyn, Kharkiv Oblast on May 23, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Telegram.

"Extremely brutal Russian attack against Kharkiv and Lyubotyn — according to preliminary data, 15 missiles at once. Unfortunately, there are people killed and injured. Emergency services are already at the sites of the hits, and everyone who was injured will be provided with the necessary assistance," Zelenskyy said.

Russian invaders are taking advantage of the fact that Ukraine still lacks sufficient anti-aircraft defense and the ability to destroy Russian launchers on the Russian territory near the border with Ukraine, Zelensky believes.

"And this weakness is not our weakness, but the world's, which for the third year does not dare to treat terrorists exactly as they deserve it. Terror must lose everywhere - in any conditions, on any continent," he said, calling on partners to be more decisive, probably referring to the strengthening of Ukraine's air defense and the permission to strike Russian launchers near the Ukrainian border.

"And this is our joint duty - everyone in the world who has the opportunity to protect life from terror. Ukraine is doing everything it can. Thanks to everyone who helps us. But more determination is needed. And it is from world leaders."
