Ruby Rose Happy She Didn’t Undergo Gender Reassignment Surgery

“Orange is the New Black” star Ruby Rose is very happy with her decision to not undergo gender reassignment surgery because she still wants to have a baby someday.

While speaking with The Edit magazine, the 30-year-old actress admitted that she felt as if she was born in the wrong body. She added that there have been many instances wherein she wished she was a boy. But even if this was the case, she’s still glad that she never made the difficult decision to undergo surgery. “I am a woman. I want to have babies one day, so I’m glad I didn’t make changes earlier in my life,” she said.

Meanwhile, Rose also gushed over her girlfriend, Jess Origliasso, while at the premiere of “XXX: The Return of Xander Cage.” While speaking with Entertainment Tonight at the red carpet premiere, Rose had nothing but positive things to say about her partner. “She is the most amazing person. We just jam every night. We just play music and sing and cook dinner, and she’s amazing. She’s wonderful. She’s always a source of moral support for me and a moral compass. I’m so glad she came tonight,” she said.

But when asked if she and Origliasso have plans to tie the knot anytime soon, Rose admitted that it’s something they haven’t decided on. “I don’t know. Can you imagine? Ruby Rose in a white floor-length gown and her Hells Angels tattoos?” she joked.

Rose and Origliasso rekindled their romance last year after their on-again, off-again relationship in 2008, according to the Daily Mail. The two also worked together in the music video for The Veronicas song, “On Your Side.”
