RTA bus and streetcar collide on St. Charles Avenue

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A New Orleans Regional Transit Authority bus and a streetcar collided on Friday, March 15.

The crash occurred around 7 p.m. on St. Charles Avenue and Broadway Street.

“RTA confirms that there was a collision between a streetcar and a bus at the intersection of St. Charles Avenue and Broadway Street earlier this evening,” said an RTA spokesperson.

The incident is under investigation.
