Motorcyclist injured after crash on Bullit Ave. SE

UPDATE 6:20 P.M. ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR)– RPD has reopened the eastbound lanes of Bullit Ave. SE following a vehicle crash involving a motorcycle.

There have been no further updates on the motorcyclist’s status or details on the crash.

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR)– The Roanoke Police Department reports sections of Bullitt Ave. SE has been closed due to a vehicle crash involving a motorcycle.

Although details remain limited about the crash, police say the motorcyclist was taken to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital for treatment of what reportedly appeared to be serious injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle remained on the scene.

Vehicle drives through structure in Bedford

RPD says all eastbound lanes of Bullit Ave SE are closed from 5th Street to 6th Street SE while officers work to clear and investigate the scene.
