Royal Baby Alert! Zara Tindall Expecting Second Child

Cutest Royal Mia Tindall Gears up for Christmas with Her Cousins

Queen Elizabeth is going to be a great-grandmother for the sixth time!

The monarch’s granddaughter, Zara Tindall, is expecting her second child with husband Mike Tindall.

“The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh and members of the Royal family are delighted with the news,” a statement from the palace read Wednesday.

The baby is reportedly due in the spring, according to BBC. The couple, who are said to be “thrilled” with the news, are already parents to 2-year-old daughter Mia.

The royal family will no doubt celebrate the happy news this holiday season when they gather together at Queen Elizabeth’s Sandringham House.

Zara, whose mom is the Queen’s daughter Princess Anne, recently opened up about her excitement for the holidays — especially seeing her adorable toddler daughter Mia play with her cousins Prince George and Princess Charlotte at the royal family’s annual Christmas gathering.

The cousins are all close in age: Mia will be 3 in January, Charlotte turns 2 in May and George will be 4 in July. Mia’s first cousins Savannah and Isla (the children of Zara’s brother Peter) are 5 and 4 respectively. The royals tend to gather on Christmas Eve and attend church together the following day.
