Royal Ascot 2018: All the celebrity fashion

It’s the Queen’s favourite time of year: Royal Ascot 2018 takes place this week.

From Tuesday 19 June to Saturday 23 June, celebrities will be flocking to Berkshire for this year’s races.

Royals, television presenters, models, actresses and socialites alike will be donning their finest attire to take in a race or two. But they can’t just throw on any old outfit: Ascot’s strict dress code is legendary and attendees must only wear clothing – and headgear – deemed acceptable by the organisers.

This year, Bardot-style necklines are banned (yes, the same neckline Meghan Markle wore to Trooping the Colour) while jumpsuits have been given the green light. Women can wear trousers, but they must be part of a co-ordinated look.

No mini dresses are allowed, and dresses should have at least a one-inch shoulder strap. Fascinators, however, are still a no-go.
