Rounds of weekend storms, but lots of dry time too

ST. LOUIS — Rain that has continued overnight will wind down as we approach sunrise Friday morning. Clouds will linger through the morning, with some clearing in the afternoon. Highs in the mid- to upper 70s. Friday night looks dry, as does Saturday morning. Wake up temperatures Saturday will be near 60.

Our unsettled pattern rolls on, but there will be a lot of dry time this weekend. I think the daytime Cardinals games and midday Battlehawks tailgate should be good to go, though fans may head home each day with some storms brewing.

Partly cloudy Saturday with highs back in the low 80s before scattered thunderstorms enter the picture again Saturday evening. A few storms could be strong, bringing some hail and strong wind gusts. More of the same on Sunday, dry in the morning with rain and storms in the later afternoon and evening.  In fact, the chance for on and off again storms continues through Wednesday.
