Rosie Huntington-Whiteley can now add swimwear designer to her ever-expanding fashion C.V. after launching her debut beachwear line with Marks and Spencer today.

The 24 piece capsule range, which is now available in stores and on the M&S website, spans bikinis, one-piece swimsuits and easy coverups, with prints and embellishments inspired by the Art Deco period.

One-shoulder styles, bandeaus and plunge-front one-pieces all feature in the launch offering - arriving just in time for those starting to think about packing for an upcoming summer holiday.

“This is my first swimwear collection and I am incredibly proud of it and expanding the Rosie for Autograph brand,” says the British model and actress, who is expecting her first child with partner Jason Statham. “The knowledge I have gained from developing my lingerie collections has been invaluable when creating this collection, and working alongside Soozie [Jenkinson, head of Lingerie Design at Marks and Spencer] and the M&S design team - now in our fifth year - has been incredibly fulfilling.”

Prices start at £19.50 for certain bikini bottom styles, and reach up to £55 for the kimonos and kaftans. Sizes range from 8-18 and cups are available up to a 40E.

Rosie’s designs on swimwear are sure to be a hit for the high street institution, with the model’s lingerie and nightwear collections being among the best selling styles in the Autograph range. Having originally collaborated on a small lingerie collection back in 2012, Huntington-Whiteley has steadily built her reputation at M&S, as well as her knowledge of what makes a great lingerie product with mass appeal. Her collections have become a go-to for grown-up women looking for lingerie that is stylish, yet supportive.

“Our vision in creating the first Rosie Swimwear collection was to draw on both elegant and retro influences whilst keeping the collection modern and luxe,” adds Jenkinson, who has worked on Marks and Spencer’s award-winning lingerie lines for over 20 years.

“Silhouettes are chic, dramatic and designed to be flattering in bikinis and one-pieces. Plunging necklines, one shoulder bandeaus and triangle shapes accompany our bestselling 'beau bra' shape which we have recrafted into a stunning underwired bikini available up to an E cup.”
