Rosarian Academy welcomes students for new school year

Rosarian Academy began its academic year Monday by continuing a trend set in motion three years ago in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. The number of students continued to grow.

Director of Communications and Marketing Will Searcy said overall enrollment "has grown by over 100 students since the 2020-2021 academic year."

The independent Catholic school this year welcomed more than 450 students for its 98th year of education, 104 of whom are new to the institution. Middle School students (fifth to eighth grades) and those in the Early Childhood Montessori program started on Monday, while Lower School students started on Tuesday.

To keep up with the growth, the school has expanded its capacity as well as faculty and staff to ensure "that each student receives a top-notch education, steeped in spiritual values, strong academics, athletics and the arts," Searcy said.

"The impressive additions to Rosarian Academy’s faculty and staff boast over 100 years of teaching experience, as well as multiple master's degrees, post-graduate degrees and teaching certifications," he said.
