Ronnie Alonte will never leave Hashtags

8 Dec - Although he has two movies in the Metro Manila Film festival this year, Ronnie Alonte stressed that he will not leave his dance group Hashtags to focus on his acting career.

According to ABS-CBN News, the actor, who is one of the lead actors of "Vince & Kath & James", as well as one of the cast members of "Seklusyon", stated that there is not even a tiny chance that he will leave the group.

"I really do not want to leave, because they have been really good to me since I joined. I started on "It's Showtime" and I got my exposure from there," he said.

He also denied that members of the group are envious of him for all the acting opportunities coming his way.

"I have never seen them [being jealous of me]. They really gave me their support. Sometimes, when I forgot to promote my movies, they would do it for me," he said.

Alonte is also set to appear in the upcoming Kapamilya series, "A Love to Last" alongside Julia Barretto.
