Romney Will Resurface at CPAC

Mitt Romney will give a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference in March, his first public speaking appearance since conceding defeat on election night, the National Review's Robert Costa reports. Since the 2012 campaign ended, Romney hasn't spoken in public, and instead has been the spotted in paparazzi-like photos showing the Romneys seeing Twilight or going to a Las Vegas boxing match, as shown above. The Washington Post's Philip Rucker reported in December that Romney was a little bored, but he wasn't that interested in returning to politics. "In private, Romney has told friends he has little interest in helping the Republican Party rebuild and re-brand itself," Rucker said. Perhaps he changed his mind. Helping him at CPAC will be another fresh face: Sarah Palin.
