Romney Changes Plans to Visit New Orleans

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, in a departure from his planned schedule, will travel to New Orleans on Friday to tour damage caused by Hurricane Isaac.

Romney also will meet with Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and make a stop in Lafitte, La., which sustained severe flooding damage.

The Romney camp announced the change in schedule on Friday morning, the day after the Republican National Convention ended in Tampa, Fla. Romney will continue to Ohio after his stop in Louisiana.
