Rollover crash takes place on I-86 near Wellsburg

CHEMUNG, N.Y. (WETM) – A rollover crash took place this morning on I-86 in Chemung near the Wellsburg exit.

The crash happened around 9:20 a.m. on Wednesday, April 17, on I-86 between exits 57 and 58.

According to an 18 News reporter on the scene, the crash involved a white SUV which appeared to have went into the middle of the median and crashed. New York State Police, Chemung Fire Department and Wellsburg Fire were at the scene.

Ambulances were near the area, but none were at the scene or with its lights on. Tow trucks were arriving at the scene while 18 News was there.

It’s unknown if there were any injuries as a result of the crash, but there are no issues with traffic at this time.
