Rollins: Romney Should Release More Tax Returns

Ed Rollins, a GOP strategist and the manager of President Ronald Reagan’s 1984 campaign, said on Sunday that Mitt Romney should release the last five years of his tax returns to quell questions about his personal finances.

“At the end of day, you come to point you give a little bit more,” Rollins said.

Rollins is the latest conservative, joining columnist George Will and the Weekly Standard’s Bill Kristol, to recommend the presumptive GOP nominee publicize returns beyond 2010 and 2011.

Romney’s decision not to do so has been criticized repeatedly by the Obama campaign and led to speculation that the returns contain information that could be politically damaging.
