Details: The scope of restrictions is distributed evenly across all regions. Power supply to critical infrastructure facilities is not restricted.

It is emphasised that the reason for the restrictions is an increase in electricity consumption during the cold snap. The capacity of Ukrainian power plants is insufficient due to the aftermath of five missile and drone attacks carried out by Russia on the Ukrainian power grid since 22 March, Ukrenergo reported.

"You can get information about how consumption restrictions will be applied in your region in the consumer's office, on the official websites of oblast distribution system operators, as well as on their social media pages," the statement said.
