Roger Mills County man hospitalized after legs pinned by bulldozer

ROGER MILLS, Okla. (KFOR) – The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety says a Strong City man is in critical condition after the bulldozer he was operating rolled off a hill and pinned his legs.

According to the incident report, 59-year-old Jeffery N. Hensley was backing up the 2013 John Deere D850 bulldozer near E 963 Rd/OK-47 just before 11:30 a.m. Monday when he backed off a hill.

Oklahoma’s icy roads cause trouble for drivers

Hensley was partially ejected as the bulldozer rolled two times and landed on its driver side, pinning Hensley’s legs.

He was transported to Great Plains Regional Medical Center in Elk City before being transferred to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City with head and leg injuries.

The cause of the incident is under investigation.
