Rockin’ Roller Rink opening up at the St. Pete Pier

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — Roll on over to the St. Pete Pier for the 2nd Annual Rockin’ Roller Rink.
Event organizers held their soft opening on Thursday and have a grand opening planned on Friday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

“You can’t beat the waterfront,” St. Pete Pier Events Manager Ferdian Jap said. “You can’t beat the wind blowing in your hair while you’re skating.”
The outdoor roller rink will feature a DJ and themed nights throughout the next few weeks.
“For example, we have a Britney night. The DJ will be playing all Britney Spears music. There’s a PitBull night as well,” Jap said.
Admission into the outdoor rink is $17 for all ages and skate rental is included, but visitors are welcome to bring their own skates.

“People smiling and laughing together, having fun,” Jap said. “That’s the best part of this.”
The Rockin’ Roller Rink is located at the Pier Plaza and is open every day through April 14.
