Rock Island Arsenal will present Armed Forces Day Celebration

The Rock Island Arsenal will present the annual Armed Forces Day Celebration from May 16-19 with family activities at Memorial Field on the Arsenal, according to a news release.

Among the features will be a carnival with classic rides and skill-testing games, a car show, and a display of military equipment and tanks, and wrestling by Honor Among Wrestling.

Friday night will feature music by the Matt Fuller Band, and, on Saturday, Superfly Samurai and Moonshine Run will perform.

Run the Rock will be May 18, with a 5K or 10K race and America’s Kids Run, where young athletes can showcase their spirit in a race tailored just for them. To register, visit here.
