Rock County officials investigating death of 8-year-old
FULTON, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – The Rock County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of an eight-year-old child. The child was found dead inside a home near West Miles Road in the town of Fulton on Saturday evening. Police were on the scene for a few hours investigating yesterday (3/10/24).
We know crews were dispatched to the area at around 6 p.m. Saturday for reports of a missing 8-year-old. While searching, the child was found dead inside of a home.
Though the investigation is ongoing, the sheriff’s office says a person of interest is in custody and there is no threat to the public.
