The Rock Church to host free food giveaway May 18

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Rock Church is set to host its free monthly Food Outreach event on May 18 in Oildale.

The food giveaway will be taking place at 1400 Norris Road on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon. Members of the community can expect food and other resources for free on a first-come, first-serve basis, according to organizers.

On Friday, Pal Kovacs was listening to the long-awaited new album from rock and metal giants Bring Me The Horizon when he noticed a strange sound at the end of the record’s last track.
