Over 2,000 ROC and CTEC graduates receive certificates at ceremony in south Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Thousands of local students are celebrating a big accomplishment and step toward their futures.

More than 2,100 juniors and seniors received certificates of completion Wednesday, May 22 from the Kern High School District. The students completed programs at the Regional Occupational Center or Career Technical Education Center.

The district says these programs give students the opportunity to explore different careers and prepare them for employment and college success.
