How Rob Kardashian’s ‘Deep-Rooted’ Insecurities Led to Trouble with Blac Chyna
Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna have had their share of ups and downs in their almost year-long relationship, and a source says the father-to-be’s insecurities have contributed to their feuds.
Although the engaged couple is expecting their first child together — a daughter — in November, the Rob & Chyna star is still “very insecure in his relationship with Chyna.”
“They’ve had many instances and fights in which he accuses or suspects that she’s cheated,” the source adds. “His issues with trusting girlfriends are deep-rooted.”
Three months after Kardashian proposed to Chyna with a 7-carat diamond ring in April, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star and his fiancée hit a rough patch, which was evident when he purged his Instagram account of all traces of his relationship with the model and entrepreneur.
In September, a second source told PEOPLE that despite Chyna pushing “him to try and get better at and be more comfortable with filming” their E! reality show, “they’re just not in a healthy place.” The source added: “It’s just difficult when their relationship involves so many other people and personalities. It makes things even more dramatic and causes Rob and Chyna to fight a lot more than they already do.”
Prior to signing on for the E! reality show with his fiancée, the KUWTK star spent nearly two years away from the cameras, battling depression and gaining more than 100 pounds. In December, PEOPLE reported that Kardashian was rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with diabetes.
But with fatherhood just weeks away, Kardashian has his sights set on getting healthy for the sake of his daughter. “Oh yeah we snapping back lol,” Kardashian captioned a side-by-side Instagram photo of him (from a few years ago) and Chyna (from before her pregnancy) on Oct. 19. “Baby will be here in 4 weeks and I’m done with carrying this pregnancy weight. Me and my baby gonna be right. MOTIVATION TIME! We almost there Chy. F— Chy looks so bomb here aghhh!”
