Roanoke Women’s Foundation accepting grant applications for non-profits

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — The Roanoke Women’s Foundation (RWF) is now accepting grant applications from non-profits across multiple counties in our region.

RWF’s mission is to connect women and their pooled financial resources to enhance the quality of life in our communities. In its 20th year, the foundation has provided almost $5.3 million in grants to nonprofits in arts and culture, education, the environment, and health and human resources through a competitive process.

This year, RWF is providing impactful grants ranging from $30,000 to $100,000. They will be accepting applications from non-profit organizations located in Roanoke County, Botetourt County, Craig County, Floyd County, and Franklin County. They will also be accepting applications from the cities of Salem and Roanoke, and the town of Vinton.

The deadline to apply for this year’s grant is March 31.
