Roadway Inn arrest nets 8.5oz of meth

SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — An investigation led by the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office led to the arrest of a San Angelo woman who was charged with possession of approximately 8.5 ounces of suspected methamphetamine.

According to a statement issued by the Sheriff’s Office, Misty Walden, 37. of San Angelo, was arrested at the Roadway Inn Hotel after a search warrant led to the discovery of the narcotics. Walden is charged with the manufacture or delivery of more than 200 grams of a controlled substance.

The investigation that led to Walden’s arrest was led by the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division, with the assistance of deputies in the Patrol Division. Special Agents with the Department of Public Safety and Special agents with the FBI also took part in the investigation.
