Roads closed in Acadiana in aftermath of Monday night storms

(KLFY) — Downed trees and power lines in the wake of Monday night’s severe storms are causing some roads to be closed in Acadiana, according to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development.

In Acadia Parish, DOTD said La. 13 south of Crowley, near La. 3007, is closed due to downed power lines. Motorists are encouraged to use an alternate route.

In St. Landry Parish, La. 81 South, Blanks Road from La 77 to US-190, was closed due to multiple fallen trees entangled with power lines. CLEARED.

The I-10 Service Road in West Baton Rouge Parish was closed in both directions from Ida Lane to La. 415 southbound due to fallen trees entangled with power lines. CLEARED.
